Client’s Requirement

Tawseeli is a progressive web app (PWA) based solution for a Supermarket business that provides product delivery to the customers. The proposed application allows the end-users to explore products listed under various categories and place orders online. The app provides multiple payment methods to customers. SuperMarket can register themselves and can add the product inside the application and let their customer know the domain link and customers can register themselves and start using the application. Client wanted to create a Progressive Web app Solution catering to the daily needs of people by delivering their shopping list right at their doorstep. This application is useful for the SuperMarket and customers. SuperMarket can add their product inside the application with full detail of the product and also can add the custom roles and permission. On other hand, customers can have a swift feature to use the application by going to the Play/store or App store to download the application instead they can use the progressive web app (PWA) and start using the application.

To build the Supermarket Marketplace application for managing product delivery to customer and placing order online, we bought a strategic requirement gathering process in place. We study the ideas and other important aspects in the client meeting. We used different strategies throughout the process so that he could achieve the best results.

Challenges

We have few challenges in order to build this system:

The biggest challenge we faced is that we need to maintain the domain for the supermarket as each supermarket has a different domain of their own.

Need to maintain real time sort of web functionality so that if any changes are done from supermarket side for e.g Adding the product/product image or its details etc that could reflect on the customer side.

To build the progressive web app (PWA) for the supermarket and customer. So that SuperMarket can use the application and minimize the manual process which they do in daily life to maintain the operations in the supermarket and other customers can have a wonderful experience to order the product without visiting the store and get their product delivered at their doorStep.

Security and Data Privacy was one of the major challenges while developing this app. Both incoming and outgoing information should be encrypted.

We study the ideas and other important aspects in the client meeting. We used different strategies throughout the process so that client could achieve the best results.

Our Technical Solutions to Client’s Needs

Tawseeli is a convenient online supermarket created with PWA in angular and dot net that facilitates their customers with no heavy bags to carry on their own, unlimited order volume, no time wasted as you can just click the items you require on the site.

Tawseeli is just a perfect solution that this modern era deserves. We used the SignalR functionality to show the real time changes to customers if any changes made from the customer side.

We used firebase push notification functionality to give notification time to time to the customer about the delivery of the product and to supermarkets also.

We have built the database schema in such a way that it can handle the large number of supermarkets, customers and their data.

Detailed dashboard to supermarket where they can see all their ongoing order, number of sales with date filter, recent customer purchase history and much more.

As the system uses extra services so our team conducted a lot of work to integrate their solution quickly and with proper quality. This includes Custom domain for the supermarket, Inventory management, Real time push notification, Product management, Customer Management and accounting systems, and Supermarket Roles such as Accounts, Delivery, and Receiver etc.

Our team also integrated the logistics system that covers order flow from creation to delivery, including program interfaces for warehouse staff, logistics, and accountants.

The logistics module merged eCommerce, delivery, and warehouse control modules into a single powerful system that covers all business requirements.

The PWA integration offers a smooth experience for mobile users. The results show that our team really knows the ins and outs of supermarket online stores.
